CLASS STYLES

  • We consider ourselves to be a VINYASA based studio and you’ll notice the majority of the classes on the schedule fall into this category.

VINYASA is a Sanskrit word that means to place in a specific and special way. It is often associated with rituals as well as steps that must be completed sequentially.

In yoga, VINYASA means each pose leads to another pose with dynamic and continuous movement that is guided by breath. The poses should be placed in a specific sequence to bring about a desired outcome for the student.

VINYASA can vary greatly depending on the teacher, it should always be breath-centred and focused on the abilities and needs of the students; apart from that it can encompass a wide range of poses and can be very slow moving or faster paced.

  • This is a VINYASA class that is focused more building strength and heat in your body.

Expect a faster pace and more dynamic movement. This class will still be paired with breath and mindful movement.

More suitable for those without mobility challenges.

  • A slower-paced VINYASA class that focuses on breath and opening poses.

    Great for all-levels and beginners.

  • A complete blend of all Yogic techniques that lead you to relaxation and to the ultimate step of the practice: meditation.

  • A meditative practice that uses props to support longer-held poses in opening shapes.
